Our solution, GRADIENT Perceptive AI, is a no-code, plug-and-play optimization tool that helps data centers operate more efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively. Already in use across the globe, GRADIENT has saved tens of thousands of GWh in energy. And we’re just getting started!
As we scale up, we’re looking for a collaborative Data/ Analytics Engineer to help expand GRADIENT’s reach and drive impactful change in how the world powers digital life.

As a Data/ Analytics Engineer at Coolgradient, you’ll be part of a fast-moving, collaborative team of data professionals passionate about sustainability, innovation, and technology.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across engineering, product, and data science to build reliable data pipelines, maintain a modern data stack, and co-create solutions that enable our partners to reduce energy and resource use in real time.

Build scalable data pipelines from external systems (e.g., BMS) or OT networks to support analytics and machine learning

Develop and maintain robust data ingestion workflows using dbt and Snowflake

Optimize our data warehouse for reliability, performance, and scalability

Collaborate across teams to integrate ML models and automate delivery of insights

Contribute to architecture discussions and influence tooling and design decisions

Share knowledge and support the growth of teammates when possible

Work closely with data centres’ technical teams to ensure sensor data will be available to GRADIENT
Job requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, (Business) Informatics, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering, ideally in a start-up or scale-up environment
Proficient in SQL, Python, and Jinja for data transformation and automation, with familiarity in data modeling techniques such as Data Vault.
Experience working with dbt, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS), as well as Git, Jira, and Visual Studio Code
Background in industrial IoT or Operational Control Systems, especially around streaming data ingestion, is a strong plus; hybrid (cloud/on-prem) setup experience is also valued
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a pré
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment that offers autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to shape systems and processes from the ground up
